Monarchs Flower 1180

Sing It Back by Moloko (Boris Dlugosh mix)

Hey, hello, hi! ... It's been like a day since I last posted, and I'm sure you missed me *audience* ... (sigh) ... Oh ... well ... Ahem ... Today's post is about a newbie but oldie perfume that I decided to recapture into my collection again - Monarchs Flowers 1180 - which allegedly is akin to Bond 9 "Royale Roses". I'm not sure if it is or isn't a dupe but, I do know this is a beautiful opulent floral which is befitting of the royal noblewoman who sits inside us all (as she quietly judges her hosts' table linens - shhh!).

Rose, Royal Lily, Orange Blossom, Mimosa, Narcissus

Monarchs Flower 1180 is an opulent, and romantic sweet-floral which doesn't strangle you with her sweetness but saunters across the room, assessing the talent before she silently takes her stage and knocks you off 1st place - with a kiss *thud*. This is a blossoming comforting scent that is addictively good to the senses as it warms on the skin and creates puffs of pure pleasure wherever you chose to wander. Take it from me - if you're looking for a fragrance that will make you feel and smell like pure aromatic ecstasy (or potpourri - depends on who you ask) - then you've found yourself in the right place.

Previously, I had purchased this in an oil form but for my repurchase, I decided to try this scent in Perfume Parlours classic ethanol-based form, and it certainly has not disappointed me. It wasn't the only fragrance I chose to revisit from my 2017 haul but, I guess you'll just have to wait for me to reveal the other two ...

In regards to the packaging - I like the sleek style of the bottle, the sprayer disperses the sent nicely, and although the label isn't jazzy (they could team up with some artists and design pretty interesting labels for their perfumes),  for the price it costs for 3omls of olfactory joy,  it's enough for me to lay such petty quibbles aside. Perfume Parlour is a great place to buy fragrances that perhaps your normal budget (or weak heart) for perfumes would prevent you from buying. They have many different formats for their perfumes (oil/spray and even dust), a unique range of popular and niche fragrance smell-a-likes, and the packaging is neither tacky nor overly cumbersome so, it should fit nicely in even the most packed dresser *squeezes bottles in*.

So yeah - I'm happy with my repurchase and suggest you have a look - You may just be pleasantly surprised.
