Back to the Review .
I have Korres monoi oil bronzing powder in Warm Glow 2.
The Sunglow Light Shade is ideal for light skin tones, especially those that have not been exposed to the sun, while Sunglow Warm is best for a deeper tan look.

The Monoi Oil bronzers are very light and sheer but highly buildable. This makes them incredibly user friendly as they are virtually mistake proof. Simply dust over the high parts of the face (cheek bones, jaw line, t-zone) repeat until desired warmth is achieved.
I mostly blend it on cheeks and then lightly dusted it all over my face to add some warmth with my Sigma F30 Large powder brush or Kabuki. The natural formulation of Korres monoi oil bronzing powder glides smoothly onto skin and blends perfectly. It does have shimmer in it , but it vanishes once you blend the powder onto your skin.I love this powder alot , because it really complements my skin tone and give me glowing ,sun kissed look.
Plus: It smells just gorgeous.
Recent manufacturer tests verify that Monoi oil is rich in methyl salicylate which is a skin-soothing agent. It is a naturally concentrated emollient which penetrates the skin, re-hydrates the layers of the epidermus and shields skin against external damages including sun and wind. Monoi oil is used:
- After a shower or bath to rehydrate skin to its natural healthy look
- Before or after a swim, it provides protection against the effects of sun, wind, sea or pool water
- As a pre-shampoo hot oil treatment, it helps repair and deep condition the hair to a healthy shine.
- During a bath. A few drops in the water reportedly encourages relaxation while keeping skin soft and subtly fragrant.
- As a dark tanning oil
- After being warmed in the palms of the hands, it is suited for massaging sore parts of the body or for warming up a weak body.
- As a pain reliever for sunburn.
