How to fix broken compact powders and eyeshadows

You'll Need:

-rubbing alcohol
-small spray bottle
-flat wooden spatula (tongue depressor)

1. Gather plain rubbing alcohol, a spray bottle and a wooden spatula (tongue depressor). Find these items to fix a broken compact of pressed powder at any discount store or beauty supply

2. Fill spray bottle 3/4 full with the rubbing alcohol. Spray pressed powder in compact lightly.

3. Stop spraying the alcohol when the pressed powder has the appearance of the compact's contents in the picture. Remember that rubbing alcohol absorbs quickly so you only need to spray the broken powder till it no longer looks dry.

4. Use the wooden depressor to firmly mush the crumpled pressed powder into itself.

5. Continue pressing the powder in the compact until it's all the same consistency. Ensure the powder is evenly distributed within the bottom section of the compact.

6. Leave lid of compact open. Let contents dry for approximately one hour, whether it be pressed powder, blush, eye shadow, or bronzer.

7. Apply restored powder as usual. Remember this little makeup tip on how to fix a broken compact of pressed powder. Save yourself money and a needless trip to the cosmetics counter.
